10th Annual Leadership Environmental Action Forum (LEAF) | Memorial Day Weekend | May 26-27, 2012
Join us at Camp Arroyo, May 26-27, for an inspiring, exciting weekend of student action, networking, leadership, skill development, and nature activities. Located at the beautiful, sustainably-built Camp Arroyo in the Livermore hills!
LEAF will provide schools participating in the Service Learning Waste Reduction Project (SLWRP) with the opportunity to share best practices and successful 4R projects, interact with students from other SLWRP schools, and learn new skills from a wide-array of workshops, nature activities, and break-out community discussions.

WHO: Up to six SLWRP student leaders, plus a teacher.
WHEN: May 26, 9:30am to May 27, 4:30pm (2 days, 1 night)
WHERE: Camp Arroyo, Livermore CA
WHY: An opportunity to reflect on your school's 2011-12 SLWRP year; lead a workshop on a successful 4R project you and your peers ran; network with students and teachers from other schools; develop leadership; learn new ideas and resources to carry your school into 2012-13 year!
HOW: The weekend is free! Registration and $20 deposits (to place-hold RSVPs) are due Friday, April 30th.
